Network Deployment Planner, Planning, Implementation and Coordination Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Network Deployment Planner to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Planning and Implementation team, you will be responsible for scoping and planning interdependent capacity scaling projects and new network capacity deployments across multiple data center locations.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes.
- Work closely with our Install/Deployment Technicians, Supply Chain & Procurement, Network Engineers and Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast and smooth delivery of on-demand customer capacity.
- Coordinate design, project timeline/schedule and construction milestones.
- Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management.
You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, and we're looking for talented people who want to help.
Requirements- 5+ years data center networking experience working with optics and bulk fiber.
- 3+ years experience working with large scaling infrastructure deployments.
- 3+ years experience working with 3rd party vendors on large projects.
- 5+ years data center networking experience working with optics, bulk fiber and a firm understanding of power and cooling.
- 5+ years experience working with large scaling infrastructure deployments.
- 3+ years of experience working new data center builds.
