We are seeking a highly skilled Network Deployment Specialist to join our team at Amazon Data Services Spain, S. L. as part of our Infrastructure Delivery organization. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the design, planning, delivery, and operation of our global infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Network Deployment: Collaborate with our Network Engineering and Technical Program Manager teams to ensure the fast and smooth rollout of established designs and products.
- Project Management: Manage work priorities through ticketing systems and workflows, and collaborate with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low-level application interaction.
- Cabling Infrastructure: Troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
- Power and Cooling: Specify Power and Cooling requirements and ensure Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
- Customer Requests: Complete customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system and project management workflows.
- Hardware Deployment: Participate in the migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
- Travel: Travel up to 20% outside traditional work areas, possibly including international travel.
Language Skills: Must be fluent or at least advanced level in English.
