Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Customer Relationship Manager to join our team at Takeda. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth and expand our customer relationships in the Madrid, Caceres, and Canarias regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Therapy & Product Liaison
    • Develop and deliver strategic plans to drive Takeda's performance in key accounts, including product and therapeutic knowledge, detailing to prescribers, and negotiating sales terms with hospital pharmacies.
    • Run high-level scientific meetings with customers to convey product importance and value.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and Takeda standards of Business Conduct and Ethics.
  • Account Management
    • Formulate comprehensive key account plans to build and manage trustful relationships with key stakeholders, while maximizing Takeda's performance.
    • Collaborate with supply chain to ensure Takeda products are available at account level.
    • Support and collaborate with In-Field Market Access territory partner to gain product access to local formularies and/or protocols within your accounts.
  • Commercial Excellence
    • Prioritize and manage accounts within assigned territory by assessing business opportunities and making changes as needed to achieve financial objectives.
    • Analyze territory sales and competitors, as well as customer behavior, to inform KAM and IFP planning.
    • Track and communicate KPIs and performance metrics as defined in the account plan.
  • Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including KOLs, therapy nurses, and hospital pharmacists.
    • Communicate value and needs to the organization and coordinate required resources within Takeda to respond to them.
    • Orchestrate different channels to provide best content for clients with support from back-office.
Requirements
  • Education
    • B. Sc. Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in engaging partnerships with HCPs, delivering strong results in a secondary care environment.
    • Experience of close collaboration with HCP/payers and commercial/access managers in engaging value-based partnerships.
  • Skills
    • Self-starter/innovative thinker: Identify and create new opportunities based on new ideas.
    • Results-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset: Execute identified key activities and actions.
    • Able to work autonomously, challenging the status quo, and collaborate with other business areas within Takeda to overcome hurdles or leverage additional opportunities.
  • Knowledge
    • Background in biological or medical sciences.
    • Understanding of main dynamics within the pharmaceutical industry and within the National Health System.
    • Mastery of the complexities of interacting with, influencing, and developing customers.
