Job Summary

As a Virtual Sales Executive at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, you will be responsible for interacting with prospective owners and first-time buyers through virtual presentations, utilizing sales techniques to convert them into purchasers. You will develop relationships with prospective owners by following up on referrals and leads, catering the sales experience to the individual needs and preferences of each prospective owner, and following through with the sales contract process to ensure accurate and efficient completion of paperwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a customer base by answering owner questions regarding property use and location amenities, making recommendations based on owner background information, and fulfilling requests regarding pricing, property maps, and portfolio information.
  • Monitor contract processing to minimize rescission decisions, provide comprehensive owner assurance, and ensure timely closings.
  • Follow up on referrals from owners and develop records on customer contacts to support effective follow-up encounters.
  • Use Customer Relationship Management systems to maintain accounts of interactions and follow up with customers regarding purchases and contracting activity.
  • Deliver sales presentations, discovering the needs of prospective owners through a series of questions and discussions, and utilizing the information to customize the sales presentation.
  • Presents financing options as an approach to ownership and closes sales using approved processes.
  • Finalizes deals by signing paperwork and notarizing contracts, and follows up with customer interactions through email, phone, or mail correspondence.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum 1 year experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in English (additional language required for certain positions).
  • Incumbent must maintain an active and in-good standing professional Real Estate License where mandated by law.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One-year related experience.
  • Successful candidates will be willing to work at night (occasionally) and must be willing to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
