Our Internal Audit team at Noatum Cruise Services supports the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, and Senior Management by evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, operational efficiency, and compliance with laws and regulations. We provide advisory services on emerging risks and change activities, adding value through objective, timely, and relevant analyses, insights, and recommendations.

Main Functions:

  • Assisting the Internal Audit Director in executing the audit plan and taking a lead role in day-to-day execution.
  • Participating in and/or leading operational/financial audits and project/program reviews to identify and evaluate key operational risks and effectiveness of related controls.
  • Providing quality audit engagements through effective planning, fieldwork, insightful audit findings, and timely draft reports.
  • Performing audit tests and preparing working papers in accordance with professional IIA standards and internal audit methodology.
  • Ensuring adequate documentation exists to support the audit work performed in accordance with professional standards.
  • Linking gaps identified in business systems and processes, financial accounting systems, and IT to business risks.
  • Evaluating, quantifying, and prioritizing gaps in terms of current impact and future risk exposure.
  • Leveraging technology to automate and improve efficiency of monitoring, audits, and assessments via data analytics.
  • Partnering with process owners on corrective action activities related to non-compliances and process improvement.
