Senior Internal Audit Role

In this critical position at TD SYNNEX, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and responding to risk across the organization. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will execute operational, financial, and compliance internal audit activities, ensuring adherence to Company policy and US GAAP accounting standards.

Key responsibilities include identifying and implementing best practices, evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) purposes, and conducting risk-based / data driven audit projects to address key risks outlined in the annual risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing risk assessments, analyzing risk, and recommending areas of emphasis for targeted audit procedures and full internal audits.
  • Participate in developing the annual audit plans, performing audits, and assisting in preparing audit reports with key findings and management recommendations.
  • Interview members of management to understand processes at a detailed level and assess risk within the process.
  • Complete management responses to audit findings, including providing guidance and best practice recommendations to management.
  • Inspect, identify, and document evidence to support systems of internal financial and operational controls through interviews, and data analytics.
  • Document the results of audit procedures in a clear and concise manner.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date audit workpapers, reports, and other supporting documentation for audits performed.
  • Effectively track, monitor, and provide status reporting over multi-location audit activities and results.
