Senior Internal Auditor Job Description

Grifols is a global healthcare company seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its international team. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting global audit projects across all areas of the different Grifols Business Divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide independent assurance and consulting services to improve the quality and effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Document and present audit reports to project managers and senior management.
  • Apply knowledge of internal and external business conditions to identify incidents or events that could impact the organization's strategy, objectives, or risk profile.
  • Analyze the underlying reasons of issues identified in an audit and determine cause-and-effect relationships of issues.
  • Apply knowledge of risk assessment frameworks and make recommendations for audit strategies based on quantitative and qualitative analysis of business risk.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years' audit experience, preferably with Big Four experience and/or internal audit.
  • Extensive knowledge of business processes, accounting entries, financial statements, and critical risks.
  • Participation in SOX assessments, fraud/anticorruption investigations, and business risk services projects is highly desirable.
  • Professional audit designation (CIA, CPA, or CFE) is preferable.
  • Advanced level in Spanish and English (C1) and proficient knowledge of MS-Office suite (Excel).
  • Experience with SAP is valuable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Dynamic, proactive, and decisive person.
  • Ability to travel internationally (30% of time as an average).
