Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Siemens Gamesa. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative concrete tower structures that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structural Design: Develop and implement advanced structural design concepts for concrete tower structures, including pre-stressed and post-stressed designs, pre-cast and in-situ structures, high-performance concrete, and fiber-reinforced concrete.
  • Calculation Methods: Utilize numerical and analytical calculation methods, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA), to model and analyze structural behavior and performance.
  • Fatigue Design: Design and develop fatigue-resistant concrete structures that can withstand various environmental conditions and loads.
  • Dynamic Behavior: Analyze and design concrete structures to withstand dynamic loads, including wind and seismic forces.
  • Design Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant design standards, including DiBT, Eurocodes, Model Codes, and ACI.
  • Experience on Concrete Structures Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing and assembly processes for concrete structures, ensuring quality control and adherence to design specifications.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the wind energy industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural analysis software, including Abaqus, and experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and numerical calculation methods.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
