About the Role
As an IT Application Specialist at Hitachi Vantara Corporation, you will apply your strong application technology knowledge and expertise to drive business success. You will be involved in all operational activities, from solution design to deployment, configuration, and development, to ensure the smooth operation of our product customization processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, propose, and implement existing IT application technology and IT solutions/services, sharing knowledge and guiding others on implementation and operation.
- Manage the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of IT solutions/services where application knowledge is needed.
- Design and implement application and software solutions to meet specific business needs.
- Oversee the entire process of building applications, from design to creation, testing, and rollout.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Application Managers, and business users to design product solutions.
- Implement applications and provide support services for users.
- Develop and deliver training programs for business users.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in IT Applications Management and Service Delivery in multinational companies.
- Experience working with virtual delivery teams and distributed stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or business management.
- Experience in one or more coding languages (e.g., Javascript, C++, Python, Java).
- Experience with development platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Pega, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of software development lifecycles.
- Strong analytical abilities for navigating intricate data structures.
- Demonstrated excellence in project management.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL 4 certification.
- L6S Lean 6 Sigma certification.
