The Web Development Assistant at Open It plays a crucial role in supporting our team of Web Developers as they gain in-depth knowledge in programming and technical concepts. This position involves regular evaluation and reporting progress on various tasks. Key responsibilities include:

Conducting system tests and correcting software defects.

Analyzing existing product features in terms of speed, performance, and usability, and suggesting needed improvements.

Developing programs to examine product quality, accuracy, and reliability.

Assisting in the development of new product features.

Delivering outputs within the given deadline.

Collaborating with team leads to determine product feature requirements.

Drafting documentation of new products and features.

Working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Required Qualifications:

Working knowledge in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and OOP concepts.

Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Ability to work effectively within a team.

Ability to share knowledge in the team.

Ability to learn quickly.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good understanding of technical concepts.

Experience in jQuery and/or HTML 5.

Experience in Ruby, PHP, or is an advantage.

Preferred Qualification:

Experience in GIT version control system or equivalent.
