Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement customs strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with regional and local country managers to develop standard practices and identify synergies.
  • Facilitate policy, procedures, and systems regarding imports and exports, focusing on trade compliance.
  • Support business plans for production, sales, and marketing in compliance with customs regulations.
  • Advocate changes in customs trade laws and regulations, representing corporate interests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Customs & Trade, International Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of customs experience and at least 5 years in the Industrial sector.
  • Knowledge of International Law, International Business, and tariff classification.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required; Spanish Native and English C1-C2.
  • Knowledge of Portuguese and optional French valued.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on results.
  • Excellent communication, proactive, dynamic, and disruptive personality.
