Purpose: The Human Resources Generalist will ensure the smooth running of daily operations in Region South, serving as the primary point of contact for employees and managers.

The main focus will be on recruitment and onboarding of new colleagues across the Region, which will account for approximately 60-70% of the time.

The remaining 40-30% will involve participation in projects related to various areas of expertise, such as HR administration, compensation, and development.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Recruitment (60-70% of the time):
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment projects internationally throughout Region Europe South and MENA.
    • Prepare job descriptions, job postings, organize and conduct interviews, and make the final proposal to the selected candidate.
  • Onboarding of new employees:
    • Ensure that everything is ready for Day 1 of new hires.
  • Master data and documents:
    • Create, maintain, and delete employees in the HR system.
    • Prepare offer letters, certificates, and maintain employee files, org charts, etc.
  • Compensation and benefits:
    • Interpret and work with salary benchmarks.
    • Track existing benefits throughout the Region and participate in improvement initiatives to ensure Elopak is an attractive employer.
  • Reporting:
    • Track relevant KPIs and prepare reports when needed (absences, recruitment, etc.).
  • Payroll and HR Administration:
    • Oversee payroll in Spain, prepare monthly variables, and communicate with the external payroll provider.
  • Knowledge of Spanish labor law:
    • Understand collective agreements and have some knowledge about labor law in Spain.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Human Resources Management or similar.
  • Knowledge of Spanish Labor Law.
  • 5 years of professional experience in HR Generalist roles (including recruitment).
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • French is a plus.
