Electronics Senior Application Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Engineer to join our Customer Excellence team at Ansys. As a key member of our team, you will partner with our customers to engineer innovative solutions, deploy Ansys software in their design workflows, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional technical support to customers, leveraging your expertise in electromagnetics to ensure high-quality, timely customer service.
- Take ownership of customer problems, proactively engaging with selected accounts to provide comprehensive electromagnetic solutions.
- Contribute to the delivery of professional services for projects, collaborating with other application engineers in various disciplines.
- Develop and implement scripting solutions to enhance customer workflows, automating or streamlining the use of Ansys solvers.
- Familiarity with high-frequency concepts, including S-parameters, wave propagation, insertion/return.
- Familiarity with signal and power integrity simulation analysis, including eye diagram analysis, cross-talk analysis, transmission line impedance simulations, bathtub curves, TDR, power delivery networks, and power plane decoupling analysis.
- Familiarity with package, printed circuit boards, and connector design processes, as well as EDA Tools.
- BS or MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- MS+6 or PhD+3 years of professional experience in an engineering environment.
- Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages.
