Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional technical support to customers, ensuring high-quality, timely service that results in improved customer satisfaction and productivity.
- Take ownership of customer problems, proactively engage with selected accounts to provide comprehensive electromagnetic solutions.
- Contribute to the delivery of professional services for projects, collaborating with other application engineers in various disciplines.
- Create and collaborate on scripting solutions to enable better customer workflows, automating or streamlining the use of our solvers.
- BS or MS or Ph D in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in an engineering environment, with a strong background in electromagnetics and Ansys software.
- Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages.
- Knowledge in board manufacturing, layout design of electronic printed circuit boards.
- Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and conduct webinars and presentations to customers and diverse audiences.
- Fluent in writing and speaking Spanish and English.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, complex in nature, across geographically diverse locations.
- Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of time.
- Preferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: MS+8 or Ph D+5.
- 2 years of experience in application engineering, customer support, or consulting services type customer-facing roles using engineering software.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and translate these into an execution plan that delivers value and meets business goals.
- Basic understanding of OOP (Python) and Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of virtual compliance of SERDES and/or DDR memory.
- Familiarity with commercial simulation tools such as SIwave, HFSS, or Keysight ADS, Sigrity, Hyperlynx.
