Job Title: Gaming Moderator

We are seeking a skilled Gaming Moderator to join our team at Social Element. As a Gaming Moderator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and inclusivity of our gaming community.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to moderate content in both Thai and English languages. The successful candidate will have excellent reading skills, a strong understanding of community guidelines, and the ability to make sound judgment calls in 'policy grey areas.'

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and moderate user-generated content in English and Thai languages, including comments, chats, images, videos, and audio files.
  • Make decisions based on community guidelines and escalate harmful content to ensure user and brand protection.
  • Stay up-to-date with notifications of new guideline changes and system updates.
  • Carry out moderation and training according to project schedules.
  • Be resilient when reviewing sensitive or challenging content.
  • Escalate user-generated content that falls within official escalation processes.
  • Inform supervisors and project management team of technical or other issues with tools or content.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Thai and English language skills with outstanding reading skills.
  • Background experience in moderation, community management, or gaming enthusiast with knowledge of gaming platforms and trends.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and ability to navigate them effectively.
  • Comfortable using a variety of technologies, apps, and online platforms.
  • Self-disciplined with ability to manage time effectively while working remotely.
Working Hours:

We are looking for candidates with mixed flexibility across weekdays and weekends to cover all possible project hours. For this particular work, we require availability on Thursday evenings (UK time) for the Thai project and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for the English project.

IT Requirements:

We operate a BYOD policy, and your PC must meet the following requirements: Windows 10 64-bit or higher, i5 8th generation or faster processor, at least 8GB RAM, and a webcam and headset.
