Job Title: Medical Affairs Manager

Bausch & Lomb is seeking a highly skilled Medical Affairs Manager to support the Clinical Evaluation Group in assessing the safety and performance of our surgical medical devices portfolio. The successful candidate will provide critical support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creation and update of Clinical Evaluation Reports to ensure MDR compliance
  • Development of summary of safety and clinical performance reports
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency between linked documents
  • Identification and mitigation of potential residual risks and safety issues
  • Interaction with third-party vendors to create and update CERs and PMCF activities
Requirements:
  • MD, MS, or higher degree in scientific/biological/clinical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs and/or Vigilance in the field of Surgical Medical devices
  • Clinical research expertise and knowledge of medical devices used in Refractive, Cataract, and Vitreoretinal surgery
  • Strong operational/strategic thinking and networking skills
  • Excellent team player with experience in cross-functional teams
