As a Procurement Specialist for AXA DCP, you will play a key role in ensuring the best value from 3rd party relationships and maintaining appropriate controls & risk management in place. Your objective will be to manage tasks required by the procurement policy and processes in cooperation with AXA DCP business stakeholders, AXA XL procurement teams, and following AXA Group standards.
Key Responsibilities- Establish relationships with the best suppliers and negotiate long-term-value contracts that set out prices, quality standards, cost-reduction targets, delivery timescales, commercial terms and conditions.
- Implement and continuously upgrade policies and procedures governing procurement and purchasing requirements in line with AXA standards.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulation, and AXA standards.
- Interact with key internal stakeholders in identifying business needs and building relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure that contractual obligations are met.
- Monitor and report on purchasing activities and expenditure.
- Manage preparation, implementation, and execution of procurement processes.
- Implement procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost savings, and best practices.
- Perform sourcing, liaising, and negotiating with new and existing suppliers.
- Re-negotiate contracts with suppliers to produce better savings.
- Create documentation necessary for the acquisition of materials and services.
- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage general projects linked to Procurement function.
- Continuous learning and development of procurement knowledge and methodologies.
- Monitor and ensure the use of common, efficient, ethical procurement processes.
You will report to the Head of Procurement, AXA Digital Commercial Platform. We're looking for someone who has a Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, operations, supply chain management, or a related area, and has 1/2+ years of direct experience with Sourcing and Procurement functions. You should be a team player with good negotiation and contract management skills, and be able to work autonomously.
