Job Opportunity at Vall d'Hebron Research Institute

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Technician to join our team at Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR). As a Research Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting translational and clinical research in the field of Parkinson's Disease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct experiments and support different lines of research in the group, particularly the study of the adaptive immune system in Parkinson's disease and related diseases.
  • Manage the laboratory, including purchases and inventory.
  • Assist with bioinformatics analysis and data interpretation.
  • Strengthen the bridge between the Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Unit and the research laboratory.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Sciences.
  • Fluency in English.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a laboratory performing different techniques such as immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence.
  • Knowledge of bioinformatics analysis (scRNAseq/scTCRseq, transcriptomics, metartanscriptomics...).
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the neuroscience field, particularly with neurodegenerative diseases.
  • Experience in immunology and immunoinformatics.
