Job Title: Research Associate

At Boston Consulting Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our Data and Research Service (DRS) team. As a Research Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our consulting and knowledge teams by delivering high-quality research and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on commercial, multi-industry, and economic topics to support client work and knowledge base development.
  • Deliver research findings in a timely and accurate manner, synthesizing and packaging data into clear and concise reports.
  • Manage a variety of research requests, summarizing data and facts into appropriate output formats (e.g., email, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Contribute to knowledge capture and documentation, supporting the development of research products (e.g., news alerts, company profiles).
Requirements:
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to clarify request objectives under direct supervision.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in an apprenticeship culture, with opportunities to expand research knowledge and skills.
