About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Bertrandt. As an ES - Model Based Design SW Engineer - Diesel/ETECH, you will be responsible for analyzing system requirements and designing new functional under Matlab/Simulink.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze system requirements and specify them at component level
  • Design new functional under Matlab/Simulink
  • Draft laws of command
  • Create or update validation scenarios
  • Analyze simulation results and ensure the escalation of anomalies
Requirements
  • Electronic/industrial engineering or similar
  • Previous experience in automotive (minimum 2 to 3 years), particularly in engine systems engineering
  • Knowledge in MBD design
  • Proficient with Matlab/Simulink tools, development of a software Component and the control laws of a function
  • Knowledge of processes and tools: MIL Validation, agile methodologies, C, C++, GitLab, Jira
  • Good level of English to understand entry documents and to provide deliverables at the right level of quality of writing. French also valuable.
  • High analytic and problem-solving capabilities
  • Advanced communication and management skills
