About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Science Leader to join our global data science team at Almirall Hermal. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the development of advanced analytical solutions and helping us become a data-driven company.
Key Responsibilities
- Help define and execute the strategic vision for the data science function, including the development of Artificial Intelligence / Advanced Analytical models and algorithms, and the integration of data science insights into business decisions.
- Develop data-driven models, algorithms, and tools that drive business insights and improve decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize high-impact business problems and develop solutions using data-driven approaches.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization and communicate complex data science insights in a clear and actionable way.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our company's data architecture, data sources, and analytical tools to ensure high-quality data inputs and outputs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data science and bring new ideas and approaches to the team.
- Manage external relationships in technical projects where we leverage third parties for specific business use cases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data science concepts, tools, and techniques, including machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining, and data visualization.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets and extracting insights from unstructured data.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in SQL and other data manipulation languages.
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact data-driven solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both oral and written.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in data science or a related field.
