We are seeking a highly skilled Product Developer to join our team at Ontex, a leading international provider of personal hygiene solutions. As a Product Developer, you will be responsible for leading product innovations for feminine care pads and liners, with a focus on retail innovations.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead product innovations for feminine care pads and liners, including product development, design to value, and innovation projects.
- Build knowledge for raw material specifications for new and existing raw materials used in feminine care pads and liners products.
- Assure product safety of feminine care pads and liners products, working closely with the Group Sustainability & Scientific Affairs Manager.
- Contribute to product cost saving yearly projects to support the Ontex productivity program.
- Set up master specifications for new product developments, including product definition, product drawings, general quality recommendations, safety files, and more.
- Gather, develop, and evaluate ideas for novel products, concepts, features, materials, and machine processes in cooperation with cross-functional peers.
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of raw materials and market developments, working closely with Group Purchase, Group Division, and Market Strategy Teams.
- Support other functions and strategic accounts by providing expert knowledge on quality problems, customer requests, or operational issues.
- Lead project teams and manage cross-functional communication to ensure transparency in the organization and maintain time targets.
- Strong knowledge of product development, innovation, and retail innovations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
