Job Title: Product Developer

Ontex is a leading international provider of disposable personal hygiene solutions. We are seeking a Product Developer to join our R&D team.

Job Purpose:

The Product Developer will be responsible for lowering the cost of products by optimizing the bill of material while maintaining product performance. This will involve collaborating with procurement to develop strategies for raw materials and creating specifications for new materials.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Focus on the Feminine Care Pads & Liners product category, including primary packaging.
  • Coordinate and deliver Design to Value projects, ensuring a cross-functional approach and minimal risk of third-party infringement.
  • Support innovation projects for the Feminine Care Pads & Liners team.
  • Collaborate with industrialization teams, suppliers, legal teams, engineering, purchase, sales, marketing, and plants to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop documentation to ensure a seamless handover to industrialization teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in natural science or engineering.
  • Strong scientific and technical knowledge, with expertise in statistics.
  • Excellent English language skills (oral and written).
  • Previous experience in R&D or project-based environments is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Strong communication and team-working skills.
