About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Developer to join our R&D team at Ontex. As a Product Developer, you will play a key role in driving innovation and cost reduction initiatives across our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Design to Value projects to reduce product costs while maintaining performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, and industrialization, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct market research and analyze data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and product innovation.
  • Develop and maintain raw material specifications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expertise and support to colleagues on raw material selection and specification.
  • Contribute to the development of a yearly Design to Value plan and track progress against targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a natural science or engineering discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in R&D or project-based environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural team.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in a similar role or industry is an asset.
