Job Summary:

As a Tree Trimmer Trainee at Wright Tree Service, you will assist experienced arborists in maintaining the health and safety of trees and woodlands. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with tree trimming, pruning, and removal, as well as operating equipment such as chainsaws and wood chippers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist arborists in tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks.
  • Operate equipment such as chainsaws and wood chippers.
  • Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris.
  • Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, exposed to various weather conditions and physical demands.
  • Collaborate with crew members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Ability to work long hours and overtime during emergencies, including holidays and weekends.
