About the Role:

The Station Manager will be responsible for the independent leadership and establishment of the location, collaborating closely with central departments to oversee day-to-day operations on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement existing standards and processes while contributing own ideas (coordinating vehicle returns, handovers, and vehicle preparation)
  • Maintain constant communication with international teams to ensure ongoing improvements
  • Motivate and lead on-site team, including onboarding, effective task planning, and quality control
  • Build and manage the local team, seeking the right talent for the location
  • Have an overview of the local vehicle fleet for rental and sales: documentation, maintenance, cleanliness, and coordination with local service partners
  • Advise customers on products, myroadsurfer, abo, spots, and rent, and send them out as happy roadsurfers on the roads of Europe

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed training or studies in a relevant subject area or comparable qualification
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in areas such as car rental, tourism, or similar - career changers are welcome
  • Experience in leading employees or teams is advantageous
  • High service and customer orientation with a friendly and open demeanor
  • Hands-on and effective communicator
  • Resilient problem solver and highly organized
  • Excellent English and fluency in the language for the country applied for
  • Driver's license Class B
