About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Operations Assistant to join our team at Icl Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting our Business Controller in the end-to-end process of record to report.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform month-end closing related general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist the Business Controller in preparing required schedules and interacting with external auditors, as well as monitoring statutory filings.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders within the business, including the Business Controller, local HR team, and Director of Finance.
  • Support the reporting manager in the quarterly balance sheet review process, analyzing financial data and identifying trends.
  • Perform balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysis, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Carry out monthly and annual accounting closings, reporting to corporate management and ensuring compliance with defined parameters.
  • Monitor the financial evolution and analysis of group companies, identifying areas for improvement and proposing recommendations.
  • Guarantee the implementation of processes, procedures, and policies necessary for the correct development of activity in each group company, acting as Internal Auditor.
  • Coordinate all audit processes of group companies, managing data and people.
  • Manage all administrative-financial processes of one of our subsidiaries, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
About You

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious team member who is business-oriented and dedicated, with a pragmatic approach. You should be able to work independently with good time management skills, be eager, result-driven, and a problem solver.

Requirements
  • University degree in Business, Economics, ADE, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting and/or reporting related role in a large multi-national (preferably in a shared service environment).
  • Knowledge of general ledger operational accounting (Spanish).
  • Strong knowledge of front-end GL/reporting systems, preferably QAD, SAP consolidation NetSuite system.
  • Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
