About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for driving Reserve customer plans to maximize sustainable profit delivery and market share growth, as well as executing our growth drivers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Brand Education: Educate our customers and PR contacts on the quality, provenance, and heritage of our brands, making them feel special.
- Activation Performance: Continuously improve our activation performance by identifying key areas of focus, assessing alternatives, and taking action to course correct where vital.
- Business Consulting: Act as a business consultant to the Diageo commercial (Reserve and on-trade channels) and customer marketing teams, identifying, recommending, and evaluating drivers for growth that ensure fit-for-purpose BTL materials.
- Trade Influencer Development: Develop deep and profitable knowledge among key trade influencers (wine shop owners, bar and restaurant managers, trade journalists).
- Brand Personification: Personify the brand in the market, embodying the attitude, appearance, and personality of the brand.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about market trends and have a finger on the pulse of what's happening on the ground.
About You
We're looking for someone with a passion for super premium brands, our customers, and our consumers. You should have brand and category knowledge across Spirits and TBA, with experience in process, ingredients, provenance, and trends. Bartending or bar management experience is a plus. You should also have experience in building commercial relationships with customers to deliver value for the customer and Diageo, be a storyteller, and have a creative and inspiring approach. Excellent relationship building and influencing skills are essential, as well as the ability to demonstrate social responsibility as an ambassador for Diageo externally. English and Greek proficiency are crucial.
