Job Description

We are seeking a Category Manager to join our Sales team, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer - EMEA, based in Spain or the UK. This role will require up to 30% travel to customer sites and retail locations domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the go-to person for the EMEA sales business and collective retail partners, building and maintaining relationships with key customers, retailers, suppliers, and quality controllers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine and commercialize different products, market fit, determine competitive pricing and promotional activities, and corresponding treatment processes.
  • Deliver against quotas, ensuring company goals and objectives are met, and assume responsibility for budget development and revenue for the category.
  • Analyze market data to understand how sales strategies are performing and identify areas for improvement, including using analytics tools to track sales trends, customer behavior, and product demand.
  • Develop long-term sales and exit strategies through a deep understanding of the market, promoting commercial activities to maximize visibility.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Sales experience as a Category Manager or similar role, with deep category experience in produce, grocery, retail, or related industry.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, presentation skills at the C-suite level, and experience in data analytics and forecasting methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with the ability to create reports, presentations, and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Fluency in retail analytics and performance metrics, with the ability to turn data insights into action.
