About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fragrance Analyst to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a Fragrance Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing fragrances using advanced tools like GC-MS, identifying perfumery raw materials, and developing fragrance formulas based on analyses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze market products using GC-MS and FID
  • Identify perfumery raw materials by both analytical tools and olfactive ability
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of the equipment in place (Agilent)
  • Develop fragrance formulas based on analyses in a timely manner with right quality
  • Work closely with perfumers (finetuning, olfactive evaluation, proactive work)
Requirements
  • 2-5 years' experience as a GC-MS analyst within the fragrance industry
  • Interest in working with all laboratory techniques and softwares
  • Fluent in Spanish. Good basic English. French is a plus.
  • Precise, reactive, and able to deliver against tight deadlines
  • Obsessed with customer success
  • Autonomous, organized and keeping a cool head when dealing with pressure
  • Methodical and pragmatic with a problem-solving mindset
  • A good communicator
  • Optimist and strong team player, who is not afraid to challenge the status quo
