Job Summary:


As a Technical Operations Manager at CBRE, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Your responsibilities will include supervising the technical services element of the facility management contract, leading the maintenance provision across multiple sites, and collaborating with colleagues to inspire customer moments of delight.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Participate in creating and enhancing our safety culture by logging quality hazards and ensuring resulting actions are closed out.


  • Review method statements, RAMS, and ensure relevant permits to work are issued prior to work commencing.


  • Accountable for legislative compliance in relation to Health and Safety for all building operations activities.


  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment through compliance with all company and client site policies.


  • Communicate changes in policies, procedures, and standards to technicians.


  • Identify equipment not meeting statutory, Health and Safety, or environmental regulations.


  • Notify line manager immediately of any breaches of Health and Safety.


  • Work with personnel to ensure adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulations.


  • Maintain QHSE Log books as required.


  • Strive for zero reportable accidents/incidents.


  • Adhere to Integrated Environmental Health and Safety Management Systems.


  • Lead a culture of safe working and compliance.


  • Engage with CBRE communications and announcements.


  • Maintain constructive and positive professional relationships.


  • Ensure safety audits of buildings, plant rooms, and roof areas are carried out.


  • Remediate QHSE actions within specified time frames.


  • Log all specific facilities issues and ensure remedial actions are completed.


  • Record ad hoc support requests within CBRE systems.


  • Assess all plant and equipment for compliance with legislation.


  • Engage proactively with customers to ascertain their needs and concerns.


  • Inform team members of instances where service could be impacted.


  • Maintain data integrity for periodic and ad hoc reports.


  • Act as the focal point for customer and facilities matters.


  • Engage in assurance monitoring and spot checks on works.


  • Provide guidance for technical services delivery.


  • Manage work plan effectively.


  • Ensure CMMS system reflects accurate data.


  • Excel in the delivery of KPIs and SLAs for the region.
