Product Compliance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Compliance Specialist to join our passenger car team in Spain. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the company's success in the market.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Product Localization Owner and serve as the interface between the European Product compliance department and Local Product department. They will also support the NSC team with local homologation activities and collaborate with colleagues in EU Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Continuity: Ensure the entire product offer complies with legislation and regulations.
  • Car Registration: Organize and execute the necessary steps for car registrations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Homologation Projects: Independently handle homologation projects, including preparation of official documentation and support in the approval process.
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor end-of-series derogations and remain up-to-date on relevant regulations, providing expert-level advice.
  • Collaboration: Develop collaboration skills when working with European Product compliance department and Local Product department to ensure national requirements are met.
  • External Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with external partners and industry associations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Experience: Relevant experience and background knowledge of National and European legislation and regulation concerning homologation-related topics.
  • Expertise: Expert knowledge of the legal aspects of vehicle registration.
  • Documentation: Experience in preparing and submitting homologation documentation, technical reports, and compliance materials.
  • Industry Knowledge: Motor industry experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Data Handling: High degree of accuracy in data handling skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish and English.
