Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to join our Data Centre Logistics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing data centre inventory, in-bound shipments, and ongoing demand to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained in all locations to support build and repair activities. You will work closely with the Logistics Manager to create plans to optimize the flow of parts through their lifecycle; track inventory location, movement, age, and turns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing data centre inventory, in-bound shipments, and ongoing demand to ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
  • Working with the Logistics Manager to create plans to optimize the flow of parts through their lifecycle.
  • Tracking inventory location, movement, age, and turns.
  • Fulfilling parts quickly and accurately in collaboration with Data Centre Operations Technicians and Data Centre Engineers.
  • Collaborating with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase new parts and interface directly with vendors to process RMAs and receive replacements.
  • Resolving questions from peer organisations via data entry.
  • Maintaining up-to-date metrics dashboards and creating reports for internal and external suppliers and management as required.
  • Assembling, addressing, stamping, and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials.
  • Assisting in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations.
  • Keeping precise records of all commodities going in and out of the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, maintenance, and stock control functions.
  • Fluency in English (EU) driving license required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Rlevant degree or completed apprenticeship in Logistics or Supply Chain discipline.
  • Experience of working within a complex logistics set-up within a data centre and ability to identify issues, develop solutions.
