Cloud Engineer - AWS Migration Expert

We are seeking a seasoned AWS cloud engineer with a proven track record in migrating applications and databases from on-premise to AWS cloud. As a key team member, you will enable, support, and guide our existing team in preparing, running, and migrating a set of applications and databases from on-premise datacenter to AWS cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deep knowledge of AWS public and hybrid cloud architecture
  • Experience in handling migrations from datacenter to the cloud in a phased approach
  • Performance and cost optimization of cloud environments
  • Database migration tools for SQL, Oracle, and other databases
  • Good knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud offerings
  • Working knowledge of AWS DevOps
  • Experience in migrating applications to IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Designing cost-effective compute, storage, and network solutions in AWS
  • Implementation of DR solutions in cloud environments
  • Managing compliance factors – tagging, configuration standards, vulnerability remediation, hardening, AMI creation, patching
  • Defining VPC for enterprises with Direct Connect and VPN
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years IT Infrastructure experience – covering all parts of AWS migration components in a typical organization
  • Proven track record in on-premise to AWS cloud migration projects
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to show "thought leadership" in client meetings
  • Ability to connect with clients
  • Ability to learn technology quickly
  • Strong sense of "value engineering"
