Postdoctoral Researcher in Quantum Simulation of Gauge Theories

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Quantum Flagship. The successful candidate will be part of our Ultracold Quantum Gases group, led by Prof. Dr. Leticia Tarruell, and will focus on simulating gauge theories with Rydberg atom arrays.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead experiments to simulate lattice gauge theories in two and three spatial dimensions using Rydberg atom arrays.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement new experimental apparatus and techniques.
- Contribute to the development of the project, including planning, data analysis, and publication of results.
- Supervise and mentor junior researchers and students as needed.
- Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field.
- Proven track record of experimental atomic, molecular, and optical physics.
- Experience with Rydberg atoms and/or ultracold quantum gases is highly desirable.
