Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Data Base Specialist to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing supplier invoices, reconciling them with purchase orders, and ensuring all invoices are properly approved and authorized before payment.
Key Responsibilities:- Accounts Payable Management: Verify the accuracy of invoices, reconcile them with purchase orders, and ensure all invoices are properly approved and authorized before payment.
- Payment Processing: Process payments to suppliers, ensuring timely payments within agreed-upon timeframes.
- Supplier Communication: Communicate with suppliers regarding invoice inquiries, payment status, invoice claims, and any discrepancies, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Bank Receipt Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable processes, maintaining proper documentation of all transactions and adhering to internal controls and audit requirements.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives, identifying areas for efficiency improvement and suggesting ways to streamline the accounts payable process.
- At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Academic credentials in Finance or Business.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Excel and desirable knowledge of SAP.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, with knowledge of other languages a plus.
- Self-driven and autonomous individual.
