Job Title: Process Technology Specialist - Probiotics

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Technology Specialist to join our team in Valencia, Spain. As a key member of our probiotics development team, you will be responsible for optimizing fermentation processes and developing new probiotic products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project engineers, technology engineers, and R&D teams to optimize fermentation processes and develop new probiotic products.
  • Lead the tech transfer of new strains from R&D and external partners.
  • Assist in evaluating potential JV and M&A opportunities in the probiotics space.
  • Provide technical support to production and maintenance employees, plant operations, and leadership teams.
  • Explore and propose new process technologies and equipment suppliers to support operational improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Dedication to working safely and promoting a safety culture.
  • Expert understanding of probiotics fermentation processes.
  • Experience with optimization and analytical processes and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of common process drawings and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in probiotics development and process optimization.
