About the Role
HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled Global IT Sourcing and Procurement Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Global IT Sourcing and Procurement team, you will report directly to the IT Sourcing and Procurement Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze IT sourcing data to identify trends and prepare reports to support decision-making and improve procurement processes.
- Review and analyze agreements and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage forecasting and demand planning activities, including analyzing historical data, adjusting forecasts, and assessing inventory levels.
- Monitor and assess vendor performance using scorecards and other evaluation methods, and conduct regular reviews and manage corrective action plans to resolve any performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, and assess and manage risks associated with procurement activities.
- Support the evaluation and selection processes, including reviewing proposals, conducting evaluations based on predefined criteria, and producing evaluation reports.
- Negotiate contract terms with selected suppliers, including service level agreements, to ensure favorable terms for the organization.
Requirements
- Dual background in finance and technology, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT procurement.
- Proven track record of success in IT sourcing, with a strong commitment to procurement processes and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Supply Chain.
- Master's degree or relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Experience in similar global roles or at a well-known global research and advisory company is highly beneficial.
