About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Lead to join our team at Technip Energies Abu Dhabi. As an Application Lead, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements, assessing and advising on tooling and implementation options, and coordinating with various teams to deliver and operate digital solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and data management, with experience in managing SAAS applications and vendors. They will also have a proven track record of implementing and operating IT applications within an ITIL framework.

About the Job

The Application Lead will be responsible for:

  • Representing the team as a global point of contact to gather digital requirements for new deliveries or evolutions
  • Providing guidance to business partners on these requirements and driving assessment and solution design phases in line with IT standards and Cyber Security framework
  • Acting as the global coordinator maintaining a close relationship with sponsors and business requestors throughout these implementations
  • Supporting business adoption and education on digitalized processes, acting as a specialist and advisor on team solutions
  • Supporting and animating the relationship with solutions vendors and securing alignment on contractual commitments and SLAs
  • Analyzing functional gaps between business needs and team target solutions
  • Building functional and support technical detailed specifications upon evolution requests
  • Maintaining applications portfolios blueprint and documentation
  • Organizing and leading tests across delivery groups and executing functional tests
  • Modeling analytics dashboards on leading indicators for different scopes and dimensions
  • Supporting release management and change management toward digital and sustainable practices across real estate, travel, and legal domains
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in IT and data management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A master's degree in data, engineering, or information technology/business school with IT/data-oriented work experience
  • 7 years of experience in IT organizations, including 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or application manager
  • The ability to lead multiple initiatives with competing priorities worldwide
  • Experience working with senior-level staff
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing SAAS applications and vendors
  • A track record of implementations and operations involving solutions, ETL integrations, business intelligence, and master data management
  • Seasoned experience running and overseeing IT applications operations within an ITIL framework
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • CEFR C1 or above (or equivalent certification)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to drive consensus and collaboration across multiple disciplines and business units
  • Practices active listening skills and absorbs and interprets others' points of view
  • Generates enthusiasm
