Executive Director - International Expansion

Altios is a leading group providing international market expansion solutions to SMEs & Mid cap companies operating and investing globally. We are seeking an Executive Director based in Europe for our client, a recognized global network of independent law firms dedicated to supporting its members in delivering unparalleled legal services across international borders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the expansion strategy (sales and marketing strategy) to drive business growth.
  • Embodiment of leadership and vision, working closely with the Board of Directors, member firms, and external partners to enhance the network's offerings and presence in the international legal landscape.
  • Maintain transparent and effective communication channels with all board directors, ensuring alignment and clarity in organizational objectives.
  • Establish a strong presence within the first month, representing the organization at regional meetings and key events.
  • Communicate the organization's vision, values, and strategic goals to stakeholders and external partners, ensuring impactful and high-quality engagements.
  • Develop mechanisms that encourage active participation from members, enhancing their value proposition and deepening their engagement with the organization.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase membership and sponsorship opportunities, ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial planning, collaborating with the board to set priorities and evaluate the viability of new initiatives.
  • Enhance the organization's visibility through strategic messaging that underscores its unique benefits.
  • Assess current processes and implement strategic adjustments to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in business administration or law.
  • Significant experience in a senior management role, ideally within the legal or non-profit sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful strategic plans.
  • Strong understanding of financial strategies and performance metrics.
  • Solid grasp of governance principles and managerial best practices.
  • Proficient in using modern technologies and software to enhance business efficiency.
  • Fluent in English, and if possible, multilingual abilities to work in an international environment.
  • Strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and situational intelligence to navigate complex environments and the legal sector.
  • Agile and able to work in various environments, including office settings and remote workspaces.
