At Nordex SE, we are passionate about sustainable energy and innovation. We are seeking a talented Renewable Energy Control Systems Specialist to join our team in Sarriguren, ES.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced professional to contribute to the development of cutting-edge wind turbine control and automation technology. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- New and further development of control technology functions in the area of operational control of the wind turbine.
- Implementation of software functions according to requirements on a programmable logic controller (PLC).
- Software architecture design for optimal execution of the control solution in a PLC, considering criteria like modularity and hardware abstraction layer.
You will be working as part of an international multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with mechanical and electrical departments to ensure seamless integration and coordination of new requirements.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in electrical engineering, automation technology, or telecommunications. A master's degree is required, and advanced knowledge in abstract thinking, PLC programming, and experience with version control systems like SVN or Git are highly desirable. Additionally, expertise in industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, CAN, Modbus TCP, OPC-UA, and proficiency in Matlab/Simulink are also essential.
A very good understanding of English, both written and spoken, is mandatory, while skills in German or Spanish are considered a plus. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to demonstrate high results orientation, quality awareness, initiative, and responsibility, along with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
