Your Opportunity
We offer an attractive salary of approximately €65,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. As a Wind Turbine Control Systems Developer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of turbine control and automation technology in our international Wind Turbine Control department. Your tasks will include:
- New and further development of control technology functions in the area of operational control of the wind turbine.
- Implementation of software functions according to requirements on a programmable logic controller (PLC).
- Software architecture design for optimal execution of the control solution in a PLC, considering criteria like modularity and hardware abstraction layer.
- Development of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Qualification of new ideas.
- Coordination of new requirements with mechanical and electrical departments.
- Technical clarification of systems and software specifications.
- Analysis of field data and define optimized functionality.
- Defining tests and approval criteria for HIL and field tests.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you should have successfully completed a technical master's degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, telecommunications, or comparable fields. You should also possess advanced knowledge in abstract thinking and good knowledge in PLC programming according to IEC61131. Additionally, experience with version control systems like SVN or Git is desirable. Knowledge of different industrial communication protocols (Profinet, CAN, Modbus TCP, OPC-UA...) is required. High results orientation and quality awareness are essential, as well as initiative, responsibility, structured, and sustainable work habits. Strong communication and teamwork skills, paired with intercultural competence, are also necessary. Ideally, you should have skills in German or Spanish.
