About the Job
">At Nordex Group, we are seeking an experienced Sustainable Software Engineer to join our Wind Turbine Control team. As a key member of our group, you will play a crucial role in developing software solutions that improve the operational performance and efficiency of our wind turbines.
">Your Tasks
">- ">
- Analyze field data from wind turbines in collaboration with cross-functional teams within engineering and service;">
- Manage requirements and create functional specifications to ensure seamless implementation;">
- Support process improvements to enhance the operational performance of wind turbines;">
- Collaborate with system responsible personnel to define software changes;">
- Directly work with core software developers to track implementation progress;">
- Participate in the full software development process, including reviewing acceptance tests in lab and field testing;">
Your Profile
">We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a background in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a related field. Key qualifications include:
">- ">
- A successful completion of a technical degree;">
- Professional experience in managing requirements and writing functional specifications;">
- A strong SW background;">
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies, preferably SCRUM;">
- Good knowledge of various communication protocols, such as Profinet and Modbus TCP;">
- Familiarity with Matlab/SIMULINK is an asset;">
- Proficiency in MS-Office, especially MS-Excel, and data/statistics visualization skills;">
- Fluent English language skills; additional proficiency in German and/or Spanish is desirable;">
- Strong results orientation, quality awareness, and abstract thinking capabilities;">
- Initiative, responsibility, structure, and sustainability in your work approach;">
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills;">
