Main Responsibilities:
? Oversee construction activities for structural, mechanical, piping, and pipeline work packages and minor electrical and instrumentation (E&I) scope, ensuring works are executed in accordance with contractual documentation, schedule, company procedures, and plans.

Key Activities:
? Follow up construction activities, monitor progress, and quality of works by performing daily visits at site and/or contractors' fabrication shops.
? Assist project manager and project engineer reviewing construction documentation submitted by contractors, including approved for construction drawings, technical specifications, and execution plans.
? Provide technical assistance for timely resolution of technical construction issues and quality anomalies, and ensure implementation of project quality plan and relevant inspection test plan during construction.
? Coordinate contractors' pre-commissioning activities, guarantee mechanical completion on time, and ensure no punch list items affect commissioning and start-up activities.
? Coordinate with site HSE management team for safe delivery of work, ensuring HSEQ plant and site requirements are implemented and relevant risks are identified and mitigated.
? Coordinate with plant production manager and contractors of different work packages to ensure smooth execution of works and avoid critical simultaneous operations.
? Participate in HSE coordination meetings and manage emission and approval of work permits.
? Organize and lead construction coordination meetings with contractors and participate in projects' meetings as required.
? Report construction activities' status and progress to the project management team, highlighting critical issues and proposing corrective actions.

Requirements:
? Minimum 5 years of experience in construction coordination activities for piping and mechanical work packages.
? Extensive experience in construction supervisory activities, including prefabrication, erection, pre-commissioning, and commissioning methodologies and processes.
? Knowledge of industrial and oil & gas plants, quality controls during construction, HSE risks during construction, and Spanish norms and regulations about site construction works and safety.
? Knowledge of permit to works procedures and conversant with industrial plant standards (e.g., API, ASME, PED, etc.).

Personal Capabilities:
? Result orientation, strong negotiation, and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, communication, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making.

Qualifications:
? Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent.
? Fluency in Spanish and English.
