we are looking for a CONSTRUCTION COORDINATOR (MECHANICAL & PIPING) LOCATION: Huelva Plant - Spain MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES? During the delivery phase, directly oversee the construction activities related tostructural, mechanical, piping and pipeline work packages and minor E&I scope.Ensure that the works are executed in accordance with contractual documentation,schedule, Company procedures and plans? Directly follow up the construction activities (.
prefabrication, erection,pre-commissioning), monitor the progress and the quality of the works by performingdaily visit at site and/or at the contractors fabrication shops? Provide assistance to the Project manager and Project engineer reviewing theconstruction documentation submitted by the Contractors (Approved for constructiondrawings such as ISOs, P&IDs, Construction procedures/method statements,execution plan and schedule)? Provide technical construction assistance to the Project manager and Projectengineer for timely resolution of technical construction issues and qualityanomalies/non conformity arisen at site? Interface with engineering and procurement department to ensure on-time deliveryof documentation and material in order to allow timely execution of the works? Make sure that the project quality plan and relevant Inspection Test Plan areimplemented during construction and the relevant quality control reports are issued? Coordinate contractors pre-commissioning activities and guarantee that themechanical completion is achieved on time, with no punch list items affecting thecommissioning and ready for start-up activities? Coordinate with the site HSE management team for a safe delivery of the work.Make sure that HSEQ plant and site requirements are implemented, coactivities andrelevant risks are identified and mitigated? Coordinate with Plant Production Manager and Contractors of different workpackages to allow a smooth execution of the works avoiding any criticalsimultaneous operation? Participate to HSE Coordination meeting and manage the emission and approval ofwork permits? Organize and Lead construction coordination meetings with Contractors andparticipate to projects' meetings as required? On daily/weekly base (as required), report the status of the construction activitiesand relevant progress to the Project management team highlighting any criticalissues and proposing corrective actions if required EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES? Minimum 5 years experience in construction coordination activities for piping andmechanical work packages? Extensive experience in construction supervisory activities? knowledge of industrial and/or Oil & gas plants? knowledge of construction prefabrication, erection, pre-commissioning andcommissioning methodologies and processes ? Knowledge of quality controls during construction? knowledge of HSE risks during construction? knowledge of Spanish norms and regulations about site construction works andsafety? knowledge of Permit to works procedures? Conversant with industrial plant standards (.
API, ASME, PED, etc…) PERSONAL CAPABILITIES? Result orientation? Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills? ability to work in team? Communication? Problem solving? Leadership and decision making QUALIFICATIONS? Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent? Fluent in Spanish and English
