Job Title: Supplier Quality Lead Manager, CPX and Logistics

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Lead Manager to join our team at Vestas. As a key member of our Quality and Development department, you will be responsible for overseeing the global SQD CPX and Logistics team, ensuring the development and deployment of the Vestas Quality Strategy towards external suppliers under CPX and Logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy the Vestas Quality Strategy towards external suppliers under CPX and Logistics in alignment with relevant business functions.
  • Identify and involve business stakeholders across global and regional organizations to achieve expected business results.
  • Align team, department, function priorities, and planning actions with overall business goals.
  • Set objectives, priority tasks, and proper resource allocation.
  • Monitor and control supplier quality performance in CPX and Logistics.
  • Share and communicate knowledge and innovation.
  • Lead and develop the SQD CPX and Logistics team to a professional quality team, setting priorities to achieve business goals and create high impact.
  • Prepare executive reports and participate in management review meetings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (ideally mechanical or electrical engineering degree).
  • 10 years of working experience in supplier quality management in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain, with offshore experience desirable.
  • Significant problem-solving skills and experience in leading improvement projects.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 systems, and knowledge in QA methodologies, tools, and process – such as APQP/ PPAP.
  • Fluency in English, oral and written.
  • Leadership and people management.
  • Strong cooperation and good communication skills.
  • Comprehensive project management skills with the ability to deliver complex development projects across organization and resolve complex issues effectively seeking needed collaboration across the value chain.
