Vestas Technology & Operations is seeking a passionate and experienced Engineer to join our Quality team as a Supplier Quality Specialist. As a key member of our global team, you will play a crucial role in developing and improving the supplier quality & HSE strategy.

About the Role

  • Deploy the Vestas Quality, Safety, and Environment Strategy towards external suppliers for Capex & Tools.
  • Ensure supplier quality, capability, and performance in compliance with regional & global strategy.
  • Coordinate QSE activities in cases of non-quality performance and incidents with suppliers in line with Vestas requirements.
  • Drive Supplier Performance Review Meetings with cross-functional participation.
  • Ensure that relevant QSE agreements with suppliers are in place.
  • Lead and conduct supplier development projects and supplier local initiative, conduct QHSE audits and prepare-present executive reports.

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree in Welding.
  • Having +3 years experience in similar role / relevant industry background.
  • Certification / Experience in APQP framework will be beneficial.
  • Certified ISO auditor/lead auditor or other standards and relevant quality-safety certifications is beneficial.
  • Green Belt Six Sigma qualification will be a benefit.
