Job Summary

Mantu is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for driving cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing Mastery: Develop and issue RFPs, applying keen evaluation skills to select suppliers based on cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
  • Contract Negotiation Expertise: Conduct negotiations to secure advantageous terms, ensuring contracts align with company expectations and requirements.
  • Supplier Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key suppliers, conducting regular performance evaluations for compliance and on-time deliveries.
  • Order Management Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end purchase order process, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of supply issues.
  • Efficient Record Keeping: Implement and update procurement records and supplier contracts in the company's internal tool, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Technological Proficiency: Demonstrate solid competencies in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software for creating and maintaining procurement documentation and reports.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and translate them into clear, effective procurement strategies.
  • Industry Insight: Keep abreast of industry trends and market conditions to inform procurement decisions and strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in procurement, business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a procurement role with a strong understanding of procurement processes, including RFPs and PO management.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms.
  • Strong analytical skills for managing budgets and critically evaluating supplier proposals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for managing and analyzing procurement data.
  • Experience with procurement software and supply chain management systems, with a preference for Ivalua.
