Mantu is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for driving cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Strategic Sourcing Mastery**: Develop and issue RFPs, applying keen evaluation skills to select suppliers based on cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- **Contract Negotiation Expertise**: Conduct negotiations to secure advantageous terms, ensuring contracts align with company expectations and requirements.
- **Supplier Relationship Building**: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key suppliers, conducting regular performance evaluations for compliance and on-time deliveries.
- **Order Management Excellence**: Oversee the end-to-end purchase order process, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of supply issues.
- **Efficient Record Keeping**: Implement and update procurement records and supplier contracts in our internal tool, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- **Technological Proficiency**: Demonstrate solid competencies in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software for creating and maintaining procurement documentation and reports.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and translate them into clear, effective procurement strategies.
- **Industry Insight**: Keep abreast of industry trends and market conditions to inform procurement decisions and strategy.
**Qualifications:**
- Master's degree in procurement, business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a procurement role with a strong understanding of procurement processes, including RFPs and PO management.
- Proven negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms.
- Strong analytical skills for managing budgets and critically evaluating supplier proposals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for managing and analyzing procurement data.
- Experience with procurement software and supply chain management systems, with a preference for Ivalua.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier management and internal collaboration.
