Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional service to our guests, responding promptly and efficiently to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Lead the Engineering Department in maintaining the hotel's facilities, equipment, and grounds, ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure the smooth operation of all hotel systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination, providing support and assistance as needed.
- Manage and maintain all hotel equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, ensuring that all systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Supervise and train a team of engineers and maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement energy-efficient and sustainable practices to reduce the hotel's environmental impact.
- Conduct regular inspections of the hotel's facilities and equipment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are available when needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, attending training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- College diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other hotel equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and vendors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
